The winemaker has her roots in the wine village of Mandel. She grew up there in the family-run Gräff winery. Her family environment and connection to wine shaped her passion for viticulture from an early age. After training as a winemaker, she continued her career and gained valuable experience at the In den Zehn Morgen winery in Bretzenheim. After completing her training, she decided to train as a winemaker in Bad Kreuznach. Her favourite grape variety is Müller-Thurgau. She appreciates it not only as a blending partner, but also as an independent, fresh and fruity wine and the perfect companion for warm summer nights with friends. Her favourite place is the "Mandeler Wingertshäuschen". From this place, she can not only look out over her home community, but also admire the vastness of the wine-growing region. During her term of office, she would like to introduce people to the Nahe as a holiday destination by presenting the region as a place to experience and enjoy. She is particularly keen to get in touch with many people and promote the treasures of the Nahe wine region through direct marketing.
He embarked on his career in viticulture due to his close ties with the region. Inspired by his passion for wine, he decided to become a winegrower in Bad Kreuznach after completing his training as a winemaker. In addition to his work as a winemaker, he is also involved in the Schild winery in Sankt Katharinen. What he particularly appreciates about the Nahe wine-growing region is the impressive variety of wines and the exceptional quality that this region produces. As a nature lover, he is particularly drawn to the vineyards, where he spends as much time as possible enjoying the beauty of the growing region amidst the vines. His favourite grape variety is Riesling, which impresses with its versatility - Rieslings with intense fruitiness as well as those with mineral notes. This multifaceted nature of Riesling fascinates him and reflects his enthusiasm for the world of wine. In his role as Nahe Wine Majesty, Tim Heck endeavours to bring people closer to the exceptional quality of the wines from the Nahe region. Through his commitment and passion for viticulture, he wants to inspire people with the treasures and magic of this wine region.
After completing her Master's degree in Finance and Accounting at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, she is pursuing a doctorate at the Chair of Controlling. Having grown up and lived in Waldalgesheim, she appreciates the variety of wines and soils in the Nahe wine-growing region. However, it is not only the wines that fascinate Jana, but also the diverse personalities behind each wine. Her personal favourite grape variety is Scheurebe, whose full bouquet she appreciates when she smells it on her nose. Her favourite place on the Nahe - the Hörnchen in Weiler. From there, she enjoys the view into the distance and the meeting of the Nahe and Rhine rivers. During her term of office as Nahe Wine Maid of Honour, she would particularly like to champion the peripheral regions in the wine-growing area. Her aim is to show how far the Nahe wine-growing region actually extends and to emphasise the beauty and quality of the wines from these lesser-known regions.
