The Crown of the Nahe stands out with its open, asymmetrical outline. It is divided into two arches typically portraying vineyards. The rays on the arches stand for the sun that stimulates the fruitful growth of the plants. An abstract vine is linked to the outline at the centre. The selected jewels – amethyst, peridot, alpinite and tourmaline – represent the region's different grape varieties. The elegantly curved tendrils and leaves link the elements and are intended to depict lightness and liveliness.
The crown was designed and manufactured in 2013 by Aurelia Goldsmiths, Bad Kreuznach.
